Born in the city of Porto, Portugal on 13 May 1990, Inês Aguiar Branco attended ‘Universidade Católica Portuguesa’, graduating in 2011 with an undergraduate degree in Law followed by an LLM in Public International Law in 2012 from Queen Mary University, London. Subsequently, while serving as an Intern at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for a period of two months, she completed her Master’s thesis on International Organization’s Effectiveness. Further to the abovementioned, Inês has also completed an Internship with the European External Action Service (EEAS) in Brussels, in addition to working at the University of Porto where she was involved in the creation of the Centre “OCEANUS, Marine Research & Innovation”. In 2014, she was proud to represent Portugal as its first par (EM ATUALIZAÇÃO)
